WARRANTY
The steel above-ground safe room carrying the “Providence Storm Shelters” brand by Providence Storm Shelters of Tennessee, LLC carries a lifetime limited warranty to the original purchaser, under reasonable circumstances. In the unlikely event of needed repair due to construction defect of craftsmanship, Providence Storm Shelters LLC will, at its own expense, repair or replace the defect or defective part. This warranty covers repairs made by a Providence Storm Shelters of Tennessee LLC authorized repairman due to defects in construction or craftsmanship (i.e. broken weld or hinge). Reasonable circumstances include the use of the shelter as it is intended. Any intentional damage will void this warranty. This warranty excludes damage caused by any natural occurrence, such as severe weather, structural settling, or fire.
The relocation of The Safe Room by persons other than Providence Storm Shelters authorized personnel or retailers, or those without written permission or consent from Providence Storm Shelters will void this warranty.
Keyed and/or digital locks and/or key-locking door handles carry a 1-year replacement warranty, which supersedes the first year of the manufacturer’s warranty. All other non-structural options such as lights, fans, etc., carry a 1-year replacement warranty, unless otherwise specified in writing.
This warranty is transferable to a new owner, and good for 10 years to the new owner from the date of the original install.
As this shelter/safe room is built of 100% solid plate steel, surface rust can sometimes occur. Although rare, this is normal, and will in no way effect the performance of the shelter/safe room. It is recommended that any scratches or small areas of surface rust be touched up by the homeowner using acrylic or epoxy-based paint. The maintenance of the paint is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
